Dear CSC Students and Fellow Pathworkers,
Hi, hope you all had a good summer. Many, many things have been happening with the NYRP over this past year 2008-09. We have downsized and brought our working budget more into alignment so that we are not spending in deficit. Our leadership has been working throughout the year to lead the NYRP into a place where we conciously work and lead, using the Guide's teachings as our foundation. We have maintained the HDP program, have had a very active meet-up/Friday Night Lecture Series (that will be continuing again this year 2009-10), and continue to develop our educational programs that will be fresh and interesting to those who are seeking spiritual growth.
In addition, we are very aware that in today's economy we must make our programs and costs of membership more financially accessible. Our Board of Directors has cut the cost of membership for senior Pathworkers in half and the cost of the CSC weekend programs in half, too.
CONTINUING STUDIES Pathwork studies weekends are going on throughout the year, as part of our Helpership Development Program. If you are in our Continuing Studies Program, or have completed a four-year Pathwork Program, you're invited too.
if you attend for the entire weekend the cost will be $25, for Saturday only $20, and for Sunday only $10! Our hope is that by reducing our fees we will encourage more Pathworkers to take advantage of this great program. While we are talking about money, it's important to understand that the NYRP is committed to a balanced budget, so the monies that are collected must pay for the rental of the room we use. Gay and I want to extend an open hand to all of you to come back to CSC. Last year we had a hiatus, when CSC members were invited to attend class with the Advanced PWS class. The teachings were wonderful but we're looking forward to re-connecting with all of you, the lectures, sharing, processing, and having lunch/dinner with friends.
Pathwork weekends will all be at the Core Institute at 115 East 23rd street. Classes start at 9a.m. and go til 5pm on Saturday (Saturday Night Group is 7-9p.m.) and on Sunday from 9 am til about 1pm or after Sanctuary.
