About the New York Pathwork

The Pathwork® is a body of practical spiritual wisdom that lays out a step by step journey into personal transformation based on 258 lectures.  It is a voyage of discovery to the Real Self through the layers of our defenses, denial and fear.  The Pathwork originated in New York City around 1957 and now has a strong presence in North America, Europe, South America and Australia.

The Pathwork is a marriage of Eastern and Western spiritual approaches. Eva Pierrakos who channeled the Lectures, came to New York from Austria in the 1950’s, and soon drew a circle of seekers to the Pathwork Lectures. In 1972, the number of people interested in the Lectures made the purchase of a center in Phoenicia, New York, possible, and later, a building on Manhattan’s East Side. Both of those properties were sold as the Pathwork diversified into many countries and US states. Here in New York, we continue to study the Lectures and meet as a community.

Visit pathwork.org for more information about the international organization.

The New York Region Pathwork is a nonprofit educational 501 (c) (3) in 2014) incorporated in 1972. We have a five-person Board of Directors and we are a membership organization. Anyone is welcome to join any of our programs, but members who can vote in our annual elections are asked to contribute $5/month or more to support the expansion of the Pathwork here in New York.
